Lucy López-Roig, Ph.D.
Dr. López Roig earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Her master’s degree in clinical psychology was earned at the Psychological Institute of Puerto Rico (now Carlos Albizu University) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attained her doctoral degree in clinical and industrial/organizational psychology at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
Until her death in 2012, Dr. López-Roig had a dynamic and prolific career as a psychologist, business leader, human resources consultant, teacher and mentor. She received many awards, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award, the Golden Lifetime Award from the Better Business Bureau (Puerto Rico chapter), Citizen of the Year by the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, and a doctorate honoris causa in Behavioral Science from Carlos Albizu University.
Throughout her professional career, Dr. López-Roig’s visionary leadership inspired her colleagues and co-workers to develop and implement innovative and effective ways to improve the quality of life of the Puerto Rican community.
Marion A. Wennerholm, Ph.D.
Dr. Wennerholm earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota. Her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology were awarded at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, with a pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Wennerholm has over 45 years of professional experience as a clinical psychologist and consultant in organizational development. She is passionate about quality of service and committed to the application of psychology to promote psychological wellness in the workplace and the community at large. Her principal areas of interest are psychological assessment, mental health service delivery and professional ethics.
In 2012, Dr. Wennerholm became President of Lucy López Roig EAP.
